How to use the TV Station

The TV Station interface is made up of three main parts;

  • 1. The Channels
  • 2. The TV Schedule
  • 3. The On Demand Section

What you can do with the TV Station

The Channels

Depending on whether the TV Station is on air or not will dictate what you see in the player.

If you look at the right-hand column of the page, you will see the 'Guide' with three tabs - 'Schedule, Channels and On Demand'.

The middle tab is the 'Channels' tab. Use this tab to display the channel list. Clicking on any channel icon will switch the TV station to that channels' current schedule and begin playing it. Any 'On Demand' content available through this channel will now also be available under the 'On Demand' tab.

The current time is displayed in the top right hand corner.

Hovering over the player section will provide you with information about the current program playing, along with a guide button that will show or hide the guide section.

The TV Schedule

At the top of the schedule you will see a 'calendar' icon which, when clicked on, will show a calendar that can be used to go to any date to view the schedule for that day. If a schedule exists, it will automatically display in the TV schedule section for you to look through.

If the TV Station is 'on air' when you come to view it, the program currently being aired will be shown in the TV schedule section, highlighted in green. The schedule times of each program appear next to its corresponding image.

It may be possible for you to view any of the content listed in the TV schedule without having to wait for its alloted time to air. If this is the case, you will see 'Available on Demand' written next to the small image corresponding to that program.

There may be a large number of programs to watch each day but only a few items can be seen on the page within the TV schedule section. At the bottom of the TV schedule you will notice a page number with back and forward buttons either side. Use these buttons to scroll through the entire content for the day.

The On Demand Section

In this section you can view any programs that have been made available for 'On Demand' through that TV Channel.

Simply click on the program icon you wish to view and it will begin to play. You have the option to pause, rewind/fast-forward and stop any 'On Demand' content.

To return to the current channel schedule, you must stop the 'On Demand' content.
